7 Good Policies For Cell Phone Radiation Protection

Although the jury's still out on this, cell phone radiation protection is never a bad idea. Here are seven ways to guard yourself.


While it’s considered debatable as to the long term health affects of regular cell phone use, something that you are going to find is that they do produce radiation.  It’s a fact that radiation is bad for the body, even if just how much radiation is transmitted from the phone to you.  That’s usually why it’s just a good idea in general for you to adopt good cell phone radiation protection policies, so that you can keep yourself safe.  With the right policies in place, you can be sure that the impact of the radiation is as minimal as could be hoped for.  Here are 7 policies that will protect you and your family:

1) Always limit a children’s cell phone usage.

The main reason that it’s not the best idea for children to use cell phones, is because even just a little bit of radiation can be extremely harmful for them, especially during these younger developmental periods.  They can have tons of far reaching effects, from altering DNA to even raising their risk of cancer.  So try to hold off as long as you can on buying them any type of cell phone.

2) Limit your usage throughout the day.

If you find that you constantly use the phone for hours a day, you want to cut that down a bit, so that you’re not using the phone anywhere near as much.  It’s a fact that cell phone usage, even for just a little while, can actually alter the electric waves of the brain for hours afterward.  That’s not always a good sign, so try to be careful with how much you use them.

3) Avoid cell phone radiation levels by using speakerphone.

A great way to ensure that you’re not going to be affected by the radiation, is to just not have your phone right next to your head.  With speakerphone, you can keep the radiation far away from your body, but you can still place calls when you need to.  While it may not be the most ideal way to talk, it is a good way to avoid the negative benefits that can arise from cell phone usage.

4) Use a headset whenever possible.

Again, this is going to ensure that you can still talk all that you want, but it’s also going to ensure that you’re avoiding having the phone right up against your ear. This way, you still have protection that you can count on when it comes to using your phone, and you can actually use them for a lot longer without having to worry about anything to do with radiation.

5) But don’t use a wireless headset.

Any type of wireless technology is going to basically have the same types of radiation that you will find is so harmful with cell phones.  That means something like a Bluetooth headset is doing just as much damage, which means they still are not the most ideal replacement.  If you have to use Bluetooth, then make sure that you’re still avoiding using the phone too much, as the effects can be the same as if you didn’t have the headset at all, and just held the phone up to your ear.

6) Try to restrict phone use when you’re in an elevator or when you’re in your car.

Because of being surrounded by metal in these situations, you’re going to find that the EMF radiation that’s harmful to you is going to be reflected right back into the area.  That means it’s practically doubling how much exposure you would have, which is really bad, so you want to resist using your phones during these parts of the day.  That way you have EMF radiation protection, at least until you need to use your phone again.

7) Scientifically validated EMF protection devices.

There are all sorts of handy phone cases and phone additions that you can make to your cell that actually restricts the amount of EMF radiation that they leak out in your direction.  This way you can protect yourself from cell phone radiation, and ensure that you’re even free to carry your phone in your pocket all day without having to worry about any negative benefits.
