Cell phone and mobile technology is constantly growing at an alarming rate. In fact, the day that you buy the latest cell phone, you’re going to find that later that year it’s going to be considered obsolete as they move forward with the technology, and achieve things that that model never would have dreamed as possible. This is set to continue for some time with future cell phones and models, and you’re going to find that some of the innovations being planned down the line are pretty incredible. There are a ton of concepts being kicked around for the new cell phone, and seeing what the future has to offer is a cool glimpse into the technology that will be commonplace before you know it.
Of course, there are a lot of innovations on the table, but some are much more likely than others to be seen in the immediate future. Here are some of the top concepts that eventually could be in use for your phone, and what they would mean to you as a daily user:
1) Different charging methods.
Isn’t one of the most annoying things about your phone the fact that you have to charge them at some point in the day, and that’s usually a few hours of time where you can’t really use the device? With most planned models of future cell phones, you’re going to find there are two types of features that could make this a thing of the past.
Number one, the super fast charge which is a cycle that could charge your battery in minutes instead of hours. Or there’s also the piezoelectric generator models, by which your body actually charges the phone through kinetic energy built up throughout use. So in theory the more you use your phone, the more power it has.
2) Most upcoming cell phones are thought to have credit and scanning features as well.
One of the coolest features of the next model of phone, is that you’re supposedly going to be able to swipe your phone like a credit card to pay for items on the go. This way, just as with some credit cards you’re able to just tap them to pay for a transaction, with the right types of future cell phones you’re going to be able to tap your mobile and do the same thing.
Another popular feature that is coming along nicely, is the ability for you to actually buy something, like let’s say a plane ticket, on your phone. Then you’re able to scan the barcode that you can download to the phone, right on the phone, so that you’re able to check in needing nothing but that and your standard identification.
3) Really advanced cameras.
If you think that your phone has a great camera at 5 mega pixels, just wait until they unleash the fact that many mobile companies have been working on ways to get 10 mega pixel quality into the palm of your hand. That means theoretically just your regular phone could make it look as though you were taking professional quality pictures in a really unprecedented way.
4) Enhanced speed.
So you think 4G is fast right? Well wait until they unveil 5G, which they are bound to do sooner rather than later. This is where the ability for your phone to get fast mobile internet connections is going to be faster than your home computer on a cable modem, and that’s going to be really incredible. Just imagine buying a song and having it download so fast it’s already on your iPhone the moment you click purchase.
5) Enhanced operating systems.
With something like Android OS or even Windows, you’re going to find that while they are getting close to being everything you want them to be, they still fall short. But future editions of the software should be faster than ever, with more app support, as well as even more support for syncing up all of your computers with your phone. There are already all sorts of great syncing programs and the like for when you need to setup your most basic files for sharing. But just imagine if you could share content over multiple platforms, and ensure that you never forget another report for work, considering it’s right there with you because of new and more enhanced home computer syncing.
